DRP Lowered seat pads provide comfort and functionality for Racers and Shorter Legged Riders. They allow you get down into the bike for better handling and control. For the trail rider who needs to be able to plant a foot on those off camber trails, a little reduction in seat height can make all the difference in the world. It is a good alternative if you do not want to reduce your suspension travel. Seat pads for the R models will lower your seat height by 1.5 inches and the X models are 1 inch lower then stock. Our Gel seat pad is designed for more comfort. The gel is a solid piece of gel molded in the foam pad to give it stability and durability. All of our pads offer a wider platform where you sit but maintain the stock overall width. The wider platform gives you much more comfort and doesn’t allow the seat to dig into you butt! Our seat cover is relatively smooth with a graphite pattern. It is not a gripper! We feel they don’t let you move around like you need to on the bike.
This is a replacement pad and cover. It is designed to replace your stock seat pad and be reattached to your existing seat base.
